The Forest Suites Elopement Experience

Elopements may be simpler than a wedding with 100+ guests. But there are still some details you won't want to overlook. The Forest Suites Elopement experience considers every last element so you don't have to, from a minister to a marriage license. Give your lake tahoe elopement a traditional feel without all the stress of planning and hosting a big event.

AN OFFICIANT

Though elopements often do away with pomp and circumstance, you’ll still need an officiant. We provide one as part of our inclusive Elopement Packages.

A WEDDING LICENSE

This is the piece of paper that will officially declare you wed. It may not seem like much, but don’t overlook it. Though you would typically get a license at your local Clerk and Recorders Office, keep it easy and let us take care of it for you. We'll provide a marriage license with your Elopement Package.

A PHOTOGRAPHER

Elopements may be low on formalities. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t packed with memories. Let us know if you'd like us to select a photographer to capture your elopement's most special moments.

THE GUEST LIST

Elopement don’t always include guests. Yet elopements have recently become synonymous with a small, no-frills affair. Forest Suites offers an elopement package option that leaves room for 25 people should you want to make room for close family and friends.

Ceremony Locations

Your ceremony location is what will set the tone for your elopement. If you and your spouse-to-be love the outdoors, consider a mountaintop. If you both have a passion for the ater, consider tying the knot at the lakefront. Forest Suites offers several ceremony locations that each channel the peacefulness and romance of South Lake Tahoe.

FOREST SUITES CHAPEL

Keep your elopement more traditional by tying the knot in our chapel. Elopements have an hour-long exclusive access to the chapel.

THE ARCH TAHOE

South Lake Tahoe is known for its blue waters and sandy beaches. Sink your toes in the sand as you tie the knot at The Arch Tahoe, less than a mile from Forest Suites.

Keeping your elopement simple doesn't mean it won't be special. At Forest Suites, we provide ourselves on creating memorable elopements. We provide the officiant, take care of the venue and decor, and even provide floral arrangements and a small cake. Choose the big day that's right for you, whether it's an elopement for two or will include a small group of loved ones.

Two Person Elopement Package

The Elopement Package is the perfect escape for just two people.

This package includes:

Two nights stay in our Honeymoon Suite
Chapel Rental and Ceremony fees
The Minister and his fees
California Confidential Wedding license
Use of the chapel for one full hour
Day-of ceremony coordination with music
